Abstract: A panel carrying assistive device comprising a platform 101 configured with an inverted U-shaped handle 102 to allow a user to carry platform 101, a first 104 and second 105 plate configured with platform 101 gets positioned around lateral sides of panel, an imaging unit 107 installed over platform 101 with an ultrasonic sensor for determining thickness of panel, a motorized sliding unit installed between second 105 plate and platform 101 to provide translation to second 105 plate for gripping panel in between plates, plurality of suction units 108 configured over inner periphery of first 104 and second 105 plates to grip panel in a secured manner, a weight sensor integrated with each plate to monitor weight distribution of panel between first 104 and second 105 plates, in case of uneven weight distribution, plurality of motorized pop out balls 109 installed over inner periphery of plates regulate positioning of panel.
