Abstract: A paintbrush cleaning and maintenance assistive device, comprising cuboidal housing 101 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, and configured with an opening for allowing a user to accommodate a paintbrush that user desires to clean inside housing 101, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 102 detect dimensions of paintbrush, a linear actuator 103 positions a motorized clamping unit 104 over handle of paintbrush, for gripping handle, a colour sensor detects presence and location of paint colour residues accumulated over paintbrush and bristles of paintbrush, plurality of electronically controlled nozzles 105 each by means of a motorized ball and socket to dispense a regulated amount of pressurized water generated from a water reservoir 106 arranged inside housing 101, a LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) sensor for detecting condition of bristles, a robotic link 107 provide movement to a laser cutting unit 108 attached with free-end of robotic link 107 in contact with extruded bristles to remove bristles.
