MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202647103028 A) filed by Shindengen Electric Manufacturing Co. , Ltd. on August 26, 2026, for Overcurrent Protection Device And Motor Control Device.
Inventor includes Hosoda Susumu.
The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: This overcurrent protection device comprises: a drive circuit unit which outputs a drive signal for a switching element of an inverter unit, which generates a drive signal for a motor by switching of the switching element; a current detection unit which detects the current flowing through the inverter unit; a first overcurrent protection unit which, when the current detected by the current detection unit is equal to or greater than a first threshold value, outputs a first overcurrent detection signal in which signal components having a predetermined frequency or more are removed and stops the output of the drive signal for the switching element by the drive circuit unit; a second overcurrent protection unit which outputs a second overcurrent detection signal when the current detected by the current detection unit is equal to or greater than a second threshold value; and a motor control unit that performs drive control of the motor including pulse width modulation (PWM) control via the drive circuit unit, and limits the duty of the PWM control when the second overcurrent detection signal is received from the second overcurrent protection unit while the PWM control is being performed.
