MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641126919 A) filed by Bapatla Surendra Babu; and Irukumalli Priyanka on October 24, 2026, for Orientation-Correcting Connector Receptacle With Reciprocating Contact Rotor And Vented Pneumatic Arrival Socket.
Inventors include Bapatla Surendra Babu; and Irukumalli Priyanka.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: ORIENTATION-CORRECTING CONNECTOR RECEPTACLE WITH RECIPROCATING CONTACT ROTOR AND VENTED PNEUMATIC ARRIVAL SOCKET A receptacle (100) accepts a polarised plug (160) in either orientation. A rotor (110) carrying contacts (112) has a crank pin (116) engaged in the slot (120) of a transverse yoke (118). A bias spring (122) holds the yoke against a stop face (152) in both rotor positions. When a feeler (114) on the rotor meets the solid face (164) of an inverted plug, a kick rod (136) pushes the yoke through one stroke; the rotor turns to the opposite position, alternating direction on successive corrections. On return, a plunger face (128) on the yoke enters a blind socket (126) vented through a leak orifice (130). A leak area between 1.3 and 1.9 thousandths of the plunger face area brakes the arrival without holding the yoke off its stop, gives choked exhaust ducted onto the contacts, and seats every case over wide spreads of spring energy, friction and temperature.
