MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541024156 A) filed by Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development Lp on March 18, 2025, for Orchestrated Auxiliary Pod Framework For Addressing Scaling Challenges In Distributed Computing Systems.

Inventors include Ganachari, Pradeep; Roy, Tathagata; and Sahoo, Sanjaya Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: According to an implementation, a computing system includes a processor and a non-transitory memory storing instructions that, when executed, enable dynamic resource management in distributed computing environments. The system monitors metrics associated with primary pods processing data from assigned partitions. Upon detecting a surge condition affecting a specific primary pod, rather than creating replica pods or modifying resource allocations, the system transforms the affected primary pod into an orchestrator while maintaining its partition connection. The orchestrator pod delegates processing tasks to newly created auxiliary pods through a database, enabling distributed processing without partition rebalancing.
