MUMBAI, India, June 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411089562 A) filed by Dr Parikshit Bansal on November 19, 2024, for Oral Synergistic Composition Of Micronutrients For Remission Of Hyperlipidemia And Hyperglycemia.

Abstract: Present invention relates to an oral synergistic composition of 5 specific micronutrients which when taken orally at specified dosage, corrects impaired metabolism and normalizes sugar and lipid levels in blood. The micronutrients include 3 minerals viz. Chromium, Selenium, Magnesium and 2 vitamins viz. Vitamin D and Vitamin K. The composition can be in form of liquid syrup, sachet which can be added to water, fortified beverage or solid oral dosage form such as tablets or capsules or any other suitable dosage form easily formulated by those skilled in the art. When taken at a prescribed dosage over a duration of time, the composition normalizes sugar and lipid levels in blood by correction of impaired metabolism. The normalization is stable and there is no need to take the composition lifelong unlike a drug or medicine.
