Abstract: ABSTRACT Oral Nutraceutical Composition for Reducing Hyperandrogenism and Restoring Menstrual Regularity in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome The present invention provides an oral nutraceutical composition for the reduction of hyperandrogenism and restoration of menstrual regularity in individuals suffering from polycystic ovary syndrome. It contains per 100 g: 15 g of Bauhinia variegata stem bark, 15 g of Asparagus racemosus root, 15 g of Saraca asoca stem bark, 15 g of Trigonella foenum-graecum seeds, 8 g of Nigella sativa seeds, 6 g of Cinnamomum verum bark, 6 g of Curcuma longa rhizome, 6 g of Coriandrum sativum dried fruits, 7 g of Cuminum cyminum dried fruits, 5 g of Trachyspermum ammi dried fruits and 2 g of Piper nigrum dried fruits. The ingredients provide complementary reproductive, endocrine, metabolic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, digestive and bioavailability support. The botanical materials are cleaned, dried, ground, sifted, weighed in proportion and uniformly blended. The composition resulting can be formulated in the form of a powder, granule, sachet, capsule, tablet or suspension for oral administration for supporting hormonal and metabolic homeostasis in polycystic ovary syndrome and improving female reproductive health.
