Abstract: Abstract The present invention relates to a simple, non-invasive, and cost-effective diagnostic adjunct in oral pathology, namely an oral lesion transparency tracing sheet, designed for accurate documentation and monitoring of oral mucosal lesions. The device consists of a sterile, flexible, transparent sheet with pre-marked grids and orientation indicators that can be placed over oral lesions to trace their exact outline, size, and morphological features. This tracing can be recorded serially over time to assess lesion progression or regression. The invention addresses limitations of subjective clinical estimation and inconsistent photographic documentation by providing a standardized, reproducible, and chairside method for lesion mapping. The device is particularly useful in the evaluation of potentially malignant disorders such as leukoplakia, oral submucous fibrosis, and erythroplakia, thereby aiding early diagnosis, follow-up, and treatment planning.
