The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: OPTIMIZING SECURE SMART HOME CONFIGURATIONS A secure smart-home optimization framework is disclosed for protecting Internet of Things environments against security threats and vulnerabilities. The framework comprises IoT devices, a data collection and preprocessing module, a vulnerability assessment and threat-detection engine, an artificial intelligence optimization module, a configuration-generation module, cloud-based analytical resources, and a monitoring interface. Operational data including network traffic, logs, and device information are collected and analyzed to identify vulnerabilities and anomalous behaviors. Machine- learning techniques and multi-objective optimization are employed to balance security, performance, and usability requirements. Optimized security configurations including firewall rules and access-control policies are automatically generated and deployed. Continuous monitoring and adaptive feedback mechanisms enable dynamic response to evolving threats. The framework improves security resilience, reduces vulnerabilities, supports heterogeneous IoT environments, and provides scalable protection for modern smart-home ecosystems.
