When ambient temperatures drop, the stored heat is released, maintaining an optimal temperature range and preventing thermal stress on the PV cells. The system employs an aluminum heat sink with optimized longitudinal and lateral fin configurations to enhance heat transfer between the PV panel and PCM and the combination of experimental and numerical investigations ensures optimal PCM selection and placement, tailored for 15 various environmental conditions.
