Inventors include Dr. Vijayakumar Sajjan; Ms. M. Vijaya Kumari; Prof Dr. S. B. Sawant; Dr. S. Sajithabanu; Dr. R. Manikandan; and Deepa R.

The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of a system of resource allocation and decision making that employs Goal Programming (GP) technique to tackle such complex multi-objective problems. With the development of a GP-based model for resource allocation, the system allows cloud service providers to give preference to certain goals depending on different users’ needs and their Service Level Agreements (SLAs). This system performs dynamic allocation of virtual machines, storage space, and bandwidth while fully complying with the specified targets. Simulation results show that the proposed GP-based solution is substantially better than any other existing heuristic approaches. It successfully minimizes resource waste by 20% and cuts down operation costs without decreasing QoS. FIG.1
