Abstract: OPTIMIZED AIR-OIL SEPARATOR TANK WITH CONICAL BAFFLE PLATE FOR ENHANCED PRIMARY OIL SEPARATION ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an air-oil separator system for screw compressors, comprising a separator tank (100) configured with an inlet nozzle (102), a conical baffle plate (104), a primary separation zone (105), a coalescing filter element (108), an outlet port (110), and an oil collection and drainage mechanism (112). The conical baffle plate (104) and a plurality of baffles are arranged within the separator tank (100) to define a controlled flow path for oil-laden compressed air. The configuration facilitates primary oil separation within the separator tank (100) prior to filtration. The coalescing filter element (108) is arranged downstream for secondary separation of residual oil mist. The system is configured to reduce oil load on the coalescing filter element (108) and minimize pressure drop. The separator tank (100) further enables efficient oil collection and prevents re- entrainment of separated oil, thereby improving overall performance and operational efficiency. Ref. Fig. 1
