Abstract: Optimization of milling machine parameters is essential for improving machining performance, enhancing product quality, and reducing manufacturing cost. In modern manufacturing industries, milling operations are widely used for producing precise and complex components. The performance of the milling process is mainly influenced by machining parameters such as spindle speed, feed rate, and depth of cut. Improper selection of these parameters may result in poor surface finish, excessive tool wear, increased machining time, and reduced productivity. Therefore, identifying the optimal combination of machining parameters is an important task in manufacturing engineering. This study focuses on the optimization of milling machine parameters using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), a statistical method used to determine the significance and contribution of process variables on machining performance. Experimental trials were conducted on a milling machine by varying spindle speed, feed rate, and depth of cut under controlled conditions. The response parameters considered in the analysis include surface roughness, material removal rate, and machining efficiency. ANOVA was applied to evaluate the influence of each machining parameter and to identify the most significant factor affecting the milling operation.
