MUMBAI, India, June 19 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411087149 A) filed by Uno Minda Limited on November 12, 2024, for Optimization Of Emi Filter And Integrated Nfc Antenna Of A Wireless Charger.
Inventors include Rajkumar Rengasamy; Brijesh Kushwaha; Sadeesh Ramachandran; and Priyanka Premdas Ramteke.
The application for the patent was published on June 05, 2026, under issue no. 23/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a system and method for suppressing EMI and optimization of shielding of an EMI filter and NFC antenna structures in NFC wireless chargers. The present disclosure recites integrating EMI filter with NFC components of a wireless charger. Further, the NFC wireless charger incorporates at least two antenna loops, implementing NFC communication, at an outer side of an NFC board and at least one elongated NFC antenna loop at center of the NFC board. Further, the configuration and/or dimensions of the EMI filter and the NFC components are optimized to minimize the EMI while maintaining overall charging efficiency. The wireless charger, as per the present subject matter, allows effective handling of FOD issue while meeting required standard levels, such as Qi certification levels. The wireless charger is able to meet Qi Certification with ease while providing better QLC and efficiency with the optimized design. FIG. 1
