MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202647091485 A) filed by Google LLC on July 28, 2026, for Optical Image Processing.

Inventor includes Yu, Shu-Han.

The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.

Abstract: Image processing units are used to determine whether an optical image remains unmodified by artificial intelligence. In example aspects, image processing units compare the pixels of an optical image to a signature to determine whether the optical image remains unmodified by artificial intelligence. A first image processing unit receives an optical image from a sensor and applies an algorithm to the pixels. The result is stored as a signature in a secure portion of memory. A flag that indicates that the optical image is unmodified by artificial intelligence is also stored in the secure portion of memory. A second image processing unit receives the optical image and checks the flag. If the flag indicates the optical image is unmodified, the second image processing unit compares the pixels to the signature stored in the secure portion of memory to determine if the optical image remains unmodified by artificial intelligence.
