Abstract: The present invention relates to an optical-haptic corrective pen comprising a pen-shaped housing, a nib-aligned optical imaging sensor positioned at a nib of the pen- shaped housing configured to capture handwriting stroke paths, a microcontroller unit disposed within the pen-shaped housing comprising an onboard optical character recognition processor and an embedded non-volatile lexicon database configured to perform real-time orthographic validation, a haptic vibration actuator disposed within the pen-shaped housing configured to generate tactile error notifications upon detection of an orthographic mismatch, and a barrel-mounted display disposed on the pen-shaped housing configured to render visual text corrections in real-time. The optical imaging sensor, the microcontroller unit, the haptic vibration actuator, and the barrel-mounted display are integrated within the pen-shaped housing to provide real-time orthographic correction without requiring external connectivity.
