Abstract: The present invention provides an optical fiber cable (100), comprising: a core (102) comprising a plurality of optical fibers (104); and an outer sheath (106) comprising a plurality of segments (108) and a plurality of protruding elements (110) located between adjacent segments (108). The width (wpe) of a protruding element (110) is 4% to 20% of the width (ws) of a segment (108).
