Abstract: OPERATION STATUS PROVISION OF MOBILE WIRELESS ACCESS BACKHAUL Example embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to operation status provision of mobile wireless access backhaul (MWAB) from an application function (AF). A method comprises receiving, from a second apparatus, an indication for barring at least one cell associated with a wireless access backhaul (WAB) network node whose operation status is changed to be off by an application function; and skipping attempting to connect to the at least one cell regardless of whether the first apparatus moves in a proximity of the WAB network node.
