The application for the patent was published on July 24, 2026, under issue no. 30/2026.

Abstract: One-tube multi-target reverse transcription-PCR assay for detection of foot-and-mouth disease virus genome pan-serotype A one-tube multi-target reverse transcription- PCR assay for detection of foot-and-mouth disease virus genome pan-serotype with a high degree of sensitivity wherein said assay targets three different genetic regions in the same reaction tube in a multiplex format using novel oligonucleotide primers complementary to highly conserved locations on the FMDV genome and incorporate degenerate bases to account for the observed genetic heterogeneity.
