Abstract: ABSTRACT ON THE REPORT ON LEAVE AND TCI STATES A method includes includes deactivating, by a user equipment (UE), at least one candidate transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state associated with at least one reference signal (RS), based on at least one of a determination: that the UE has reported an on-leave message for at least one RS corresponding to a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state; that the UE has performed signaling to report the on-leave message based on determining that a criteria for report on leave is fulfilled for the at least one RS; that the UE has triggered transmission of the report on-leave message based on the criteria for report on-leave determined for the at least one RS; that the criteria for report on leave is fulfilled for the at least one RS; or that the UE reports report on leave information by not including the at least one RS in a report on leave message.
