Abstract: The present invention relates to an oil-water separation purification system and an oil-water separation purification method using same, which provide step-by-step oil-water separation processes so as to efficiently separate and discharge water and oil from contaminated water in which water and oil are mixed, and purify same, and in which the flow of oil-water in the oil-water separation processes is automatically guided in a natural falling manner such that work efficiency and process automation can be provided. The present invention provides the oil-water separation purification system provided in order to separate water and oil, which are mixed in oil-water, and purify same, the oil-water separation purification system comprising: an oil-water storage tank in which oil-water is introduced and stored; a supply pump for discharging and moving the oil-water of the oil-water storage tank; a drum screen for primarily pretreating various kinds of sludge in the oil-water injected from the supply pump; a scum remover for dually separating the remaining sludge and oil-water from the oil-water primarily filtered at the drum screen, and secondarily pretreating same; an oil-water separator for dually separating water and oil from the oil-water pretreated at the scum remover and purifying and discharging same; an inspection tank for identifying the degree of turbidity in the water separated and discharged from the oil-water separator; and a drain pump provided in connection with the bottom of the inspection tank so as to discharge the finally-purified water as sewage, wherein height differences of provided equipment are sequentially different from the drum screen to the drain pump so that the flow of the oil- water from the drum screen to the inspection tank is automatically guided in a natural falling manner.
