MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611109563 A) filed by G. L. Bajaj Institute Of Technology And Management on September 12, 2026, for Offline Retail Transaction Analytics Apparatus.

Inventors include Shivansh Gupta; Shivani Anand; Shivendra Kumar; and Md Ishfaque Ahmed.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: Disclosed is a local retail transaction analytics apparatus that produces a visual analytical report without transferring retailer transaction data to an external cloud service. A housing supports a data-input port receiving a spreadsheet or comma-separated-value file, nonvolatile storage, processing circuitry, and a display coupled through a local bus. A network-isolation circuit between the processing circuitry and an external-network interface remains blocked during analysis. The processing circuitry detects file format, verifies fields, resolves duplicate records and missing values, aggregates cleaned records by product and month, ranks products, identifies seasonal demand patterns, and applies linear regression to determine trend direction and strength. The display renders product rankings, monthly demand patterns, and regression-based sales trends. Dated September 7, 2026 / Kumar Tushar Srivastava IN/PA-3973 Agent for the Applicant
