Abstract: The present invention relates to a wearable, bilateral, hands-free headpiece for laser photobiomodulation therapy intended for the management of temporomandibular disorders and associated craniofacial musculoskeletal structures. The device comprises two symmetrical lateral arms interconnected by an overhead support, each arm having an external optical entry port and an internal optical distribution system that directs laser energy to multiple optical exit points positioned over the temporomandibular joint, masseter, and temporalis regions. The device enables simultaneous bilateral multipoint irradiation, significantly reducing treatment time and operator dependency. The invention further allows selective deactivation of one or more optical exit points to permit targeted irradiation of specific muscles or trigger points without repositioning the device. The invention ensures uniform energy delivery, improved clinical efficiency, reduces treatment time and enhanced patient comfort during photobiomodulation therapy.
