Abstract: 6. ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION The patent disclosure covers Novel System, Design and Method of Gesture Based Home Appliances Control Using Python. A hand gesture-controlled user interface is demonstrated in this study. A number of home appliances would be controlled by the proposed system. In order to enable visually impaired people to independently manage domestic appliances, this technology is primarily designed for them. This system uses gesture recognition to send data over loT to identify hand movements. An appliance control unit, a sensor for micro-electromechanical systems, and a module for recognizing and controlling gestures make up this system. Node mcu houses the main gesture identification component. The unit in charge of regulating household electronic devices is controlled by a Esp8266 controller, which is connected to a hand-mounted LDR sensor that detects hand movements. This project offers a simple strategy for controlling home appliances.
