Abstract: The present invention device provides us with a Novel Iot Based Eco-Lighter, process and methods for detecting usage of cigarettes. The disclosed IoT Eco-Lighters design have a custom board, connected it to an electric lighter kit, and with special programs, wherein the device is able to transfer data to the server on the press of a button. This enables the end user or the company to collect actual sale data and thereby making strategy around it with respect to various points such as re-filling, offers and supply chain management. As, there is no accurate cigarette sales data available to determine market size, market share, sales trends, smoke generation, or waste production while smoking in smoking zones. The current invention accurately does the same. Further, the claimed invention not just is capable of collecting data but also helps the user to make informed decisions.
