Abstract: Talc and mica commonly used ingredients in cosmetics have undesirable properties. Disclosed is the novel cosmetic aid that is fundamentally and compositionally different from Talc and mica. It is prepared by treating naturally occurring substances by a novel process. The process to prepare novel cosmetic aid is disclosed too. Also disclosed are applications of novel cosmetic aid in preparing different cosmetic preparations. Novel cosmetic aid of the present invention is free from some of the drawbacks associated with talc and mica. Novel cosmetic aid of the present invention is more brittle than talc or mica. Treatment of natural mineral with balancing inputs leads to at least partial or complete integration of either of them with the other or both of them with each other giving rise to novel cosmetic aid.
