Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel compound having a fibrosis inhibition effect. The compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, according to the present invention, has been confirmed to effectively inhibit the expression (formation) of a-SMA, COL1A1, and F-actin, which are major causative factors of fibrosis. Thus, the novel compound, according to the present invention, is expected to by usefully employed for the prevention and treatment of fibrosis-related diseases as a therapeutic agent having the effect of reducing or inhibiting fibrosis.
