Abstract: The present application relates to the technical field of terminals, and provides a notification display method and an electronic device. In the present application, an electronic device displays corresponding detailed information on the basis of a user's operation on indication information of a certain notification among indication information of a plurality of notifications displayed in a status bar, helping the user to flexibly view notification content. The method comprises: an electronic device displaying a first interface comprising a status bar located at the top, wherein the status bar displays indication information of at least two notifications comprising indication information of a first notification and indication information of a second notification, and the indication information of the first notification and the indication information of the second notification are displayed independently of each other; in response to a user's first operation on the indication information of the first notification, displaying detailed information of the first notification on the first interface in a floating form; and in response to the user's second operation on the indication information of the second notification, displaying detailed information of the second notification on the first interface in a floating form, and restoring display of the indication information of the first notification in the status bar.
