Abstract: Illegal electric fencing in agricultural and hilly regions has caused numerous accidental injuries and deaths due to unregulated high-voltage lines. To address this safety threat, a portable Illegal Electric Fencing Detector with an integrated buzzer alarm and rechargeable flashlight is proposed. The device detects live wires carrying voltages above 10V using a high-sensitivity induction sensor. When dangerous electricity is detected, the buzzer produces a loud audible alert, enabling users to identify and avoid hazardous areas from a safe distance. The built-in rechargeable flashlight supports visibility during nighttime or low-light inspections. This compact device enhances safety for farmers, field workers, and travelers navigating unfamiliar terrains. It eliminates the need for direct contact with suspicious fences, reducing the risk of electric shock. The detector is easy to operate, cost-effective, and suitable for rural environments. Its durable design ensures reliable performance under varying weather conditions. With early hazard detection and immediate alarm feedback, the system aims to prevent accidents caused by illegal or faulty electric fencing. The solution promotes community safety and awareness. By integrating sensing, alarm, and illumination in one handheld tool, the device becomes a practical companion for field safety inspections. This device supports rapid identification of hazardous fence installations without technical expertise. Its low power consumption and rechargeable battery make it ideal for continuous field use. The buzzer alarm is loud enough to warn nearby individuals, further reducing accidental contact. The detector can be used by farmers, forest officials, and rescue teams. It plays a crucial role in preventing livestock injuries as well. The compact build allows easy carrying during field patrols. With proper implementation, this technology can significantly reduce electricity-related accidents. Overall, it enhances safety and strengthens monitoring against illegal fencing practices.
