A nonwoven fabric 1 for a liquid-permeable sheet of an absorbent article comprises heat-fusible fibers 7 and cellulose-based fibers 9, and is characterized in that the heat-fusible fibers 7 are thermally fused to each other, and the ratio of the cellulose-based fibers 9 to the nonwoven fabric 1, which is defined as x (mass ratio), and the interfiber distance of the nonwoven fabric 1, which is defined as y (µm), satisfy the following formula (1): -19x+70y-70x+120 (wherein 0x).
