Abstract: TITLE: NON-WEARABLE TOE-LEVEL SENSORY STIMULATION AND MONITORING SYSTEM FOR GERIATRIC BALANCE REHABILITATION APPLICANT: MEENAKSHI ACADEMY OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND RESEARCH ABSTRACT The present invention discloses a non-wearable toe level sensory stimulation and monitoring system for geriatric balance rehabilitation. The system comprises a floor-based mat body having a multi-layered architecture including an upper contact layer, a sensory node layer, a stimulation electrode layer, a signal routing layer, an electronic circuit layer, a cushioning layer, and a base insulation layer. A toe-centric grid of neurosensory nodes is disposed beneath hallux, toe, and forefoot regions for acquiring toe-level sensory and pressure information. A signal acquisition circuit receives and processes sensory signals and transmits the acquired data to a processing and control module configured to perform balance analysis, sensory assessment, gait evaluation, rehabilitation tracking, and adaptive stimulation control. A stimulation subsystem delivers controlled tactile, vibratory, mechanical pulse, or low-intensity electrical stimulation to selected toe regions. A closed-loop adaptive feedback mechanism dynamically modifies stimulation parameters based on real-time sensory responses. The system facilitates integrated sensory assessment, monitoring, stimulation, and balance rehabilitation within a single floor-based platform.
