Abstract: The present invention relates to a non-invasive system for estimating blood protein levels using a flexible Ultra-Wideband (UWB) antenna-based wearable sensor. The designed compact polyimide UWB antenna acquires muscle bioelectromagnetic signals from the human forearm without exposing the user to radiation or requiring invasive blood sampling. The acquired signals are amplified and processed using a Multi-Synchrosqueezing Transform (MSST), and frequency-domain features obtained through Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) are analyzed using a Linear Regression model to estimate blood protein levels. An embedded ESP32 microcontroller performs real-time computation and displays the estimated protein level on an LCD screen, eliminating the need for laboratory testing and lengthy processing. The designed antenna exhibits wideband operation, stable radiation characteristics, low specific absorption rate (SAR), and safe on-body performance, making the system suitable for continuous wearable health monitoring and early detection of protein deficiency and sarcopenia.
