Abstract: The present invention relates to an AI-based non-invasive labor progress tracking system and method for real-time monitoring of cervical dilation and uterine activity. The system comprises a wearable abdominal sensor assembly incorporating electromyographic electrodes, pressure sensors, stretch sensors, bioimpedance sensors, ultrasonic sensors, a signal acquisition unit, a processing unit, and a wireless communication module. The processing unit executes machine learning algorithms to estimate cervical dilation, classify labor stages, detect abnormal progression, and generate clinical alerts without repeated vaginal examination. The invention improves maternal comfort, reduces infection risk, enables remote monitoring, and supports clinical decision-making in hospital and low-resource settings.
