Abstract: 6. ABSTRACT The present invention discloses a non-contactless frequency-based diagnostic maintenance system for automotive engines, enabling real-time condition monitoring and fault detection without requiring physical or invasive contact with moving and rotating components. The system employs non-contact sensing hardware to capture acoustic and audio frequency signatures, coupled with adaptive spectral filtering and wavelet-based denoising to isolate fault-specific frequency components across varying engine operating conditions. A deep learning-based fault classification engine identifies characteristic signatures associated with bearing wear, cam misalignment, piston ring degradation, and combustion irregularities, while a condition-adaptive threshold calibration mechanism minimizes false-positive detections across variable load, speed, and thermal states. A predictive maintenance module generates remaining useful life projections and prioritized maintenance recommendations, while a monitoring and logging layer maintains historical diagnostic trends for vehicle reliability reporting. This invention addresses a critical gap in reliable, non-invasive engine diagnostics, enabling continuous condition-based maintenance while eliminating the durability, calibration, and serviceability limitations associated with contact-based sensor technologies.
