Abstract: ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION: SIGNATURE DATE Today. a person suffers from a traffic accident every four minutes in India. Two-wheeler accidents cause 25% of all accidents. According to extending investigations, 98.6% of motorcycle riders who died did not have a cap on. Using the latest advances, a clever head protector is an innovative way to construct a hat. This initiative's standard goal is to design an innovative system that will prevent someone who is intoxicated from driving and also identify and accept any obstacles. This framework works well for protecting riders' safety and well-being against accidents on the road. The smart helmet integrates sensors (accelerometer, GPS), wireless communication modules, and a camera to continuously monitor the rider's behavior, road conditions, and surroundings. It can detect incidents like falls or collisions and automatically alert emergency contacts with location data This paper discusses the design, architecture, and potential applications of the next-gen smart helmet, emphasizing its transformative role in creating safer and smarter working and living environments. The proposed solution not only addresses existing safety challenges but also sets the stage for future developments in wearable loT technology. Road safety remains a significant concern, particularly for two-wheeler riders who face a higher risk of accidents and fatalities. The Next-Gen Smart Helmet Using loT Innovation is designed to address these challenges by integrating advanced Internet of Things (loT) technologies to enhance rider safety and promote responsible beh"vior. This smart helmet incorporates several key features, including alcohol detection, fall detection, and helmet-wearing compliance systems. An MQ3 alcohol sensor analyzes the rider's breath and prevents the motorcycle from starting if alcohol levels exceed safe limits, discouraging drunk driving. The helmet's infrared sensor ensures it is properly worn, activating the system only when detected on the rider's head. Fall detection, enabled by a 3-axis accelerometer and vibration sensors, identifies sudden impacts or abnormal movements and triggers immediate alerts to emergency contacts or nearby individuals for timely assistance. The system is powered by a Node MCU, which acts as the central processing unit to manage sensor data and enable real-time responses. Additional features like a buzzer provide audible warnings in critical situations, such as unsafe conditions or alcohol detection. By combining these components, the smart helmet delivers a comprehensive safety solution while remaining cost- effective and scalable. The proposed system addresses major causes of two-wheeler accidents, such as intoxication, lack of helmet ISe, and delayed medical responses during incidents. It emphasizes practicality and accessibility while reducing fatalities and improving overall road safety. Future advancements, including collision avoidance systems and biometric monitoring, offer the ยท potential to further enhance the system's capabilities and ensure a safer riding experience.
