Abstract: TITLE: NEUROSPATIAL AI SPECTACLES FOR ADAPTIVE COGNITIVE MAPPING AND INTELLIGENT NAVIGATION ASSISTANCE IN THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED APPLICANT: MEENAKSHI ACADEMY OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND RESEARCH ABSTRACT The present invention discloses a wearable assistive navigation system for visually impaired users. The system comprises a spectacle frame integrated with touch-sensitive input surfaces operatively linked to an artificial intelligence (AI) processing module, a plurality of sensors, an environmental fingerprinting unit, a predictive obstacle intelligence module, a confidence-aware navigation assistance unit, a memory-based route reconstruction module, an accessibility scanning mechanism, a multimodal feedback system, and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery unit. The AI processing module continuously learns user movement patterns, environmental interactions, navigation preferences, and spatial experiences to construct and update a cognitive spatial map. The environmental fingerprinting unit recognizes locations using ambient signals and environmental features without complete dependence on GPS. The predictive obstacle intelligence module anticipates dynamic hazards, the confidence-aware navigation assistance unit dynamically adjusts guidance instructions, the memory-based route reconstruction module assists recovery from disorientation, the accessibility scanning mechanism identifies accessibility features, and the multimodal feedback system provides three-dimensional spatial audio and haptic feedback, thereby enabling adaptive navigation assistance for visually impaired users.
