Abstract: NEURAL NETWORK MACHINE LEARNING (DNNML) BASED PSUEDO PRESSOR SENSOR The present disclosure provides a deep neural network machine learning based pseudo pressure sensor system. A system (100) for monitoring pump fluid pressure within the hydraulic path in a dialysis device (103) using a neural network, comprising a pump (101) for providing a flow rate of fluid to the dialysis device (103), a motor (102) for driving the pump (101) at a predetermined speed, a processor (111) and a memory (112) storing machine readable instructions, when executed cause the processor (111) to: receive measurement of current drawn by the motor (102) via one or more current probe (106); process the received measurement of current drawn by the motor (102) to determine the current drawn by the motor in a predetermined time window, predict, by a neural network (108), one or more pressure point parameter corresponding to the received measurement of current drawn in the predetermined time window, and output the predicted pressure point parameter indicating the pressure at pump outlet corresponding to the current drawn by the motor (102).
