Abstract: The embodiments of the present disclosure can be applied to the technical field of communications. Disclosed are a network selection method and apparatus. The method, which is executed by a terminal device, comprises: acquiring network information of at least one optional SNPN; and according to the network information of the optional SNPN and selection strategy information, determining a target SNPN selected for registration. Thus, a terminal device can synchronously take a validity condition into consideration during a network selection process, such that the network selection efficiency can be improved.
