Abstract: A NET PROTECTOR The present invention relates to the field of sports equipment and stadium infrastructure, particularly to a system designed for protecting football goalpost nets from environmental damage. In conventional football grounds, goalpost nets are permanently attached to the goal frame and remain exposed to external environmental conditions such as rain, sunlight, dust, and temperature variations. Continuous exposure to such conditions leads to rapid deterioration of the net material, resulting in reduced durability, increased maintenance requirements, and frequent replacement of the nets. Additionally, the process of manually removing or reinstalling the net during adverse weather conditions is time-consuming and requires considerable physical effort from ground staff. Therefore, there exists a need for an automated system that can protect the football net efficiently without requiring manual intervention.
