Abstract: The invention- relates to an organic herbal mosquito repellent composition formulated using natural plant-based ingredients for effective mosquito control with reduced smoke generation and minimal environmental impact, the composition comprises neem leaf powder, nochi.leaf powder, tulasi -leaf_powder, eucalyptus-leaf-powder,-coconut-shell charcoal,-sawdust, rice starch-binder—and water in required quantity for preparation. The herbal ingredients provide natural mosquito repellent activity, while coconut shell charcoal and sawdust assist in controlled combustion and sustained release of repellent smoke. Rice starch binder provides structural integrity and shape retention to the prepared product. The composition is free from extensive synthetic chemical insecticides and harmful petroleumbased additives commonly used in conventional mosquito-repellents. The prepared formulation may be shaped into mosquito repellent coils, sticks, incense-based products, cakes, or related forms suitable for indoor and domestic usage. The invention provides an eco-friendly, biodegradable, low-smoke, and cost- effective alternative to conventional chemical mosquito repellent products.
