The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a natural long-lasting nail mehndi composition and a preparation process thereof. The composition comprises tea powder, sugar, crushed jaggery, instant coffee powder, maida powder and water used for steam generation. Tea powder, sugar, crushed jaggery and instant coffee powder are first mixed to form a herbal base mixture. A collector vessel is positioned within the mixture-containing vessel, and the vessel is closed with a water-bearing lid or plate. On heating, vapours carrying natural colour constituents condense and collect as a concentrated herbal extract. The extract is then mixed with maida powder to obtain a smooth paste suitable for nail and hand application. Tea and coffee provide natural colour bodies, while sugar and jaggery improve adhesion, viscosity and colour retention. The formulation provides a cost-effective, herbal and substantially synthetic-colour-free alternative to commercial nail colourants, with improved stain intensity and durability on nail surfaces.
