Abstract: The titled invention discloses a nanoparticle-based spray combining curcumtn and fluticasone propionate for the treatment of sinusitis. The method involves encapsulating curcumin and fluticasone propionate in biodegradable nanoparticles and dispersing them in a mucoadhesive intranasal spray for enhanced retention and controlled release. Demonstrated sustained drug release, improved mucoadhesion, and effective anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial activity. The formulation ensures targeted deposition on the nasal mucosa with minimal systemic absorption. The results indicate rapid symptom relief, prolonged efficacy, and enhanced patient comfort. This formulation provides a novel, safe, and optimized approach for the effective management of sinusitis.
