The bandage provides controlled release of therapeutic agents, exhibits anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antioxidant, and angiogenic properties, and functions as a bioactive scaffold to promote wound healing. The invention offers a cost-effective, safe, and efficient alternative to conventional wound dressings for managing chronic diabetic wounds.
