Abstract: Disclosed is a nanocomposite synthesis system including a reaction vessel containing tin oxide nanoparticles in an acidic medium, a nanoparticle dispersion module, a mechanical agitation assembly, a monomer feed assembly having a removable annular spray-ring distributor, an oxidant feed assembly having a dip-tube injector, a temperature control unit, and a polymerization termination assembly. Cooperative operation of these components forms a conformal polyaniline shell on each tin oxide nanoparticle with a controllable thickness between about 2 nm and about 25 nm. The system enables controlled introduction of monomer and oxidant, regulated reaction temperature, and termination of polymerization after a predetermined growth interval, providing repeatable fabrication of polymer-coated nanoparticles suitable for nanocomposite applications.
