Inventors include Anurag Varshney; and Shruti Varshney.
The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a nano-immunomodulatory multi-target biologic composition and controlled-release immunotherapeutic delivery system for the treatment, prevention, and management of autoimmune and inflammatory disorders. The composition comprises a monoclonal antibody fragment complex including one or more (ytokine-targeting antibody fragments selected from anti-interferon-alpha (anti-IFN-a), anti-interferon-heta (anti-IFN-B), anti-interleukin-6 (anti-IL-6) anti-interleukin-17 (anti-IL-17), anti-tumor necrosis factor-alpha (anti-TNF-a), anti-interleukin-23 (anti-IL-23), and combinations thereof; an immunomodulatory cytokine inhibitor blend comprising Tofacitinib, Baricitinib, Upadacitinib, Filgotinib, or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof; a herbal immunomodulator complex comprising standardized extracts of Curcuma longa, Withania somnifera, Boswellia serrata, Tinospora cordifolia, and Glycyrrhiza glabra; a lipid nanoparticle carrier system comprising Glyceryl Monostearate, Stearic Acid, Lecithin, and Cholesterol; tissue-targeting ligands including Hyaluronic Acid, Folic Acid, and Polyethylene (ilycol; and a biodegradable controlled-release hydrogel matrix comprising Sodium Alginate, Chitosan, Xanthan Gum, and Guar Gum. The nanoparticle system preferably exhibits a particle size ranging from 50 nm to 150 nm and facilitates enhanced bioavailability, targeted tissue delivery, cytokine suppression, immune regulation, and sustained therapeutic release. The invention provides a synergistic multi-modal therapeutic platform that reduces inflammatory cytokine activity, improves tissue-specific targeting, decreases dosing frequency, minimizes immunogenicity and steroid denendency, and enhances therapeutic efficacy in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, dermatomyositis, polymyositis, atopic dermatitis, inflammatory bowel disease, and related immune-mediated disorders.
