Abstract: ABSTRACT NANO-HERBAL DENTURE CLEANSER The present invention discloses a nano-herbal denture cleanser composition comprising defined proportions of effervescent agents, surfactants, chelators, essential oils, and herbal-incorporated silver nanoparticles. The formulation includes approximately 40% sodium bicarbonate, 20% citric acid, 17% tartaric acid, 5% sodium lauryl sulfoacetate, 10% EDTA, 6% sodium hexametaphosphate, 5% polyethylene glycol, 1.6% polyvinylpyrrolidone, 0.4% tea tree oil, 0.4% peppermint oil, and 0.6% silver nanoparticles synthesized using aqueous extracts of Annona muricata and Psidium guajava. The composition, when dissolved in water, produces an effervescent solution that mechanically and chemically cleanses dentures while exhibiting broad-spectrum antimicrobial efficacy against Streptococcus mutans and Candida albicans. Zebrafish embryo toxicity studies confirm its biocompatibility at concentrations of 5–10 µg/mL, while time-kill assays validate its rapid microbial inhibition comparable to standard agents. The invention offers an eco-friendly, safe, and effective alternative for maintaining denture hygiene through synergistic herbal-nano action. Fig. 1
