Abstract: A nail sorting and packing device, comprising an L-shaped frame 101 having a strap 102 configured with a motorized roller 103 attached with frame 101 to acquire grip on frame 101, a rectangular plate 104 attached at front end of frame 101 via a ball and socket joint 105, multiple pneumatic pins 106 disposed on multiple sliding units 107 installed on plate 104 for holding nails with pins 106, each pins 106 is integrated with an electromagnet for attaching with nails, a vibration unit incorporated with plate 104 for vibrating a pile of nails for aligning nails along their lengths for picking by pins 106, an imaging unit 108 installed on frame 101 determine alignment of nails in pile to actuate the sliding units 107 to translate pins 106, the pins 106 to extend or retract and the electromagnets to grip the pins 106 by heads of pins 106.
