Abstract: In response to the growing need for efficient and transparent systems in specialized healthcare, particularly in Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) management and long-term monitoring, our project focuses on developing an innovative, patient-centric mobile application called MYRA Journey. This application is designed to create a structured and transparent platform for continuous RA care, ensuring effective and coordinated interaction between patients and healthcare providers. MYRA Journey connects RA patients with verified rheumatologists and healthcare facilities, facilitating organized tracking of symptoms, medication adherence, and laboratory findings through intelligent digital tools. The platform allows doctors to review patient histories, monitor treatment compliance, and interpret uploaded reports through a secure, centralized database. By streamlining communication and structured data exchange, the application ensures transparency, accountability, and evidence-supported clinical decision-making. The application integrates key features such as automated medical report digitization using Optical Character Recognition (OCR), medication scheduling, chatbot-based assistance, and comprehensive history management, effectively bridging the gap between hospital visits and home-based care. This solution addresses critical challenges in chronic disease management by providing a secure and ethical system that empowers patients while giving doctors clear visibility of health progression, ultimately enhancing the quality of life and long-term outcomes for individuals living with RA.
