Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of a MXene-Silver Nanocomposite Conductive Antimicrobial Coating for Smart Health Monitoring Devices, intended to improve the functionality, reliability, and cleanliness of wearable or portable biomedical electronics. The coating includes a matrix of two-dimensional MXenes combined with uniformly distributed silver nanoparticles that ensure high electrical conductivity, wide antimicrobial spectrum, and outstanding mechanical flexibility. The nanocomposite is deposited on electrode surfaces of sensors and other surfaces of devices by means of coating technique and forms a reliable and biocompatible conductive layer. Due to its antimicrobial effect, the nanocomposite can prevent the bacteria growth and biofilm formation during long periods of usage and contact with the skin. At the same time, due to its high conductivity, it enhances the accuracy of signals' registration and stability of sensors' functioning. This invention can be used in smart health monitoring devices, such as wearable biosensors, electrocardiogram patches, and remote patient monitoring systems. FIG.1
