Abstract: A portable drum with improved storage for plurality of drum heads within the drum comprising of a drum shell with a first shell portion and a second shell portion arranged along a longitudinal axis with an engaging circumferential portion adapted to removably engage and disengage the proximate end of the first and second shell portions with each other. A first playing drum head configured for detachable engagement with the other free open end of the first shell portion of the shell which end is remote from the second shell portion. A plurality of second playing drum heads configured for detachable engagement with the other free playing end of the second shell portion of the shell which end is remote from the first shell portion. Each of two shell portions sized to receive plurality of drum heads within its cavity portion. All or some of the plurality of drum heads engageable with each shell portion are collapsible mutually and are configured to fit into the nested storage space within one of two shell portions.
